Career guidance that never loses the human being

What should I do with my life?Answer it with evidence, not guesswork.

Pathways pairs a guided self-discovery journey with a real counsellor. Learners build a profile of their interests, strengths, subject results and goals — and their counsellor works from the same evidence in every conversation.

Guidance prompts, not psychometric diagnoses. No credit card needed to explore.

What makes Pathways different

Most career tools stop at the quiz. Pathways starts there.

A results page cannot ask a follow-up question, notice a dropping grade, or help a learner rehearse an interview. Pathways keeps the assessment, the evidence and the counselling relationship in one place so guidance actually moves forward.

Assessment plus a human counsellor

The interest profile and guided SWOT open a conversation instead of closing it. Counsellors see the same results the learner sees, then record private, encrypted follow-up notes.

Evidence, not a single score

Subject marks, enjoyment ratings, module progress and reflections sit next to interest results, so a shortlist is built from the whole picture.

It does not end at Form 5

A Beyond School track carries the same record into university, college and TVET, the workplace, work-study and job seeking — so support continues through the transition that matters most.

Counsellors get a real workspace

Caseloads, appointment requests, assigned learning, document sharing and an audit trail — everything a practice needs to run guidance properly.

Private by design

Counselling notes are encrypted before they are stored and never returned to a learner portal. Every administrative action is written to an audit log.

Your brand, your words

Colours, logo, section wording and this entire landing page are editable from the admin console, so a school or practice can run Pathways as its own service.

How it works

Four steps, repeated as a learner grows

Explore widely, compare the evidence, decide the next step, then review it. Pathways keeps that loop moving.

01

Discover

An 18-statement profile maps six working preferences — analytical, creative, people and service, business and enterprise, practical and technical, and digital.

02

Gather evidence

Learners record subject marks, how much they enjoy each one, modules and skills, and a guided SWOT of strengths, growth areas, opportunities and obstacles.

03

Discuss with a counsellor

Book or request a session, share documents both ways, and turn the evidence into a shortlist of realistic pathways with someone who knows the learner.

04

Act and review

A personal action plan with target dates, assigned learning modules and stage-by-stage goals keep the next step concrete — then the loop repeats.

Inside the platform

Everything a guidance programme needs, in one portal

Built for schools, private practices and career programmes that want to run guidance as a service rather than a one-off workshop.

Pathways Profile

Six-dimension interest and working-preference profile with a plain-language explanation of every result.

Guided SWOT

A structured reflection learners can revisit each term, kept alongside their results.

Subject & skills evidence

Marks, enjoyment and motivation ratings that show where ability and interest actually meet.

Stage roadmap

A theme and clear goals for every stage, from Upper Primary through Form 5 and into work or further study.

Learning Hub

Publish and assign your own modules on career choice, study routes, applications, funding and work readiness.

A curated list of universities, colleges, TVET providers and employers with admissions links.

Action plans

Small, specific, dated commitments a learner owns and a counsellor can follow up on.

Access-code sign-in

Learners sign in with a personal code such as ASR864 — no email address required for younger students.

Admin content studio

Edit colours, logo, landing page and every section heading without touching code.

Audit trail

Sign-ins, password resets, account changes and content edits are all recorded.

How it runs

Two ways to run Pathways

Use ICLP’s own professional counsellors to run guidance for your learners — from a single Individual login up to a full Programme rollout — or give your school’s counsellors the same portal to run it themselves, under your own brand. Every plan works either way.

Decide per school, per cohort, or even per learner — and change your mind later without moving any records.

Run for you

ICLP-managed counselling

ICLP’s own professional counsellors run the guidance for your learners. They work the sessions, keep the notes and carry the caseload — you get the outcomes without staffing the counselling yourself. Available from a single Individual login right up to a full multi-site Programme rollout.

  • ICLP counsellors assigned to your learners
  • Sessions, notes and follow-up handled for you
  • Available at every plan level
Your counsellors, your brand

Run it yourself

Give your own school counsellors, private practice or careers staff the same portal, under your own brand. They run the sessions, own the notes and manage the caseload directly — Pathways gives them the workspace to do it properly.

  • Your counsellor logins and caseloads
  • Your colours, logo and wording
  • Encrypted notes stay with your staff

Most schools mix both — ICLP counsellors covering some form groups or sites, in-house counsellors covering others, all on one shared record.

What guidance teams say

Built with counsellors, not just for them

The conversation changes completely when a learner arrives with their own evidence. We spend the session deciding instead of collecting information.

Questions

What people ask before they start

Is this a psychometric test?

No. The Pathways Profile is a structured self-reflection that produces discussion prompts. It is not a diagnostic instrument and it never guarantees admission or employment.

Do I need my own counsellor to use Pathways?

No. You can use ICLP’s own professional counsellors to run guidance on your behalf, at any plan level from Individual to Programme — or give your school’s counsellors the portal to run it themselves under your own brand. Many schools mix both.

Do learners need an email address?

No. An administrator issues a personal access code built from the learner’s initials — for example ASR864 — plus a password. Staff sign in with their email address.

How private are counselling notes?

Notes are encrypted before they are written to storage and are never returned to a learner portal. Administrative actions are recorded in an audit log.

Can we use our own booking system?

Yes. Choose Calendly, a Google appointment schedule, Microsoft Bookings or any external booking page, and it appears inside the learner’s counselling section. Internal requests keep working alongside it.

Can we change the wording and colours?

Yes. Administrators edit the colours, logo, this landing page, the sign-in screen and the portal section wording from the admin content studio.

What happens after a learner leaves school?

Move the record to the Beyond School track. Learning, documents, appointments and notes stay with the participant while the stages change to university, college and TVET, workplace, work-study or job seeking.
